mTw carry on the mantle from The Arena #1 champions mousesports after defeating Complexity Gaming in the finals last night to take home the $1,000 check and the title of GD Studio's The Arena #2 champions.
mTw needed only two games to edge out the American powerhouse in last night's finals, after narrowly escaping elimination by dropping the first game in the best of three semi final match up to Keita Gaming.
The opponents, Complexity, did not have a smooth journey to the finals as well, facing off against fellow The International invitee Darer in the semi finals and beating them with a scoreline of 2-1.
With this win, mTw claim The Arena #2 title and a cool $1,000 in cash. In an interview following the team's victory, captain Synderen remarked that mTw had since 'matured as a team' and with only two invitations left open for The International, the team would not throw away a single game.
